Crook County HS gets new baseball scoreboard

KTVZ

Robberson Ford, in conjunction with the Crook County School District and Crook County Booster Club, announced Monday a brand-new scoreboard will be erected on the high school baseball field.

Robberson Ford is donating about $8,000 for the new scoreboard, which will replace the 22-year old scoreboard that exists today at Pimentel Field.

“Giving back is a cornerstone of who Robberson Ford is for over 57 years in Central Oregon and 12 years in Prineville.” Said Joe Mitchell, general manager for Robberson Ford of Prineville. “Partnering on this project with the school district and booster club is a perfect fit for our culture here at Robberson Ford.”

The new scoreboard is on order and will be installed soon. The new scoreboard will be about two times bigger than the current scoreboard – 20’wide x 8′ tall. There will be additional features on the scoreboard that will truly make Pimentel Field in Prineville substantially stand out.

Athletic Director Rob Bonner is excited: “We could not be happier to have Robberson Ford step up and help our sports program with a new scoreboard.” “They are such a great partner to not only the kids of Crook County, but the whole community.”

Bonner expects the new board to be up as soon as they can get the paperwork in and delivery of the scoreboard.
