DrinkTanks: C. Oregon Beer Week’s official growler
“Believe it or not, there are quite a few people out there who can’t finish a 64-ounce growler in one night,” DrinkTanks CEO Nicholas Hill said.
DrinkTanks growlers were created to help preserve and keep beverages colder, longer.
The stainless steel double-wall vacuum-insulated growlers are assembled, powder-coated and engraved in Bend.
“We were the first to market with a double-wall vacuum-insulated charging and dispensing growler,” Hill said. “Basically giving you a perfect growler and personal keg.”
Currently, DrinkTanks is offering a 64-ounce growler and is also featuring a 128-ounce growler for pre-sale.
Their Keg Cap system is what sets this growler apart. Sold separately, the Keg Cap fastens onto the top of the DrinkTank and creates a personal keg. The dispensing system carbonates and dispenses beer without opening the growler.
“The average consumer, if you asked them what they didn’t like about growlers, is that it goes flat in a day or two,” Hill said.
DrinkTanks is the 2015 Central Oregon Beer Week’s official growler.
And the growler can be used for liquid other than beer.
“All my friends love it – even wine, the mimosas, the carryover. It’s just a great vessel,” said Director of Marketing Leslie Hall.
