CNG natural gas pipeline replacement in NW Bend

KTVZ

Phase 4 of a Cascade Natural Gas pipeline replacement project began Monday in northwest Bend, officials said.

Steel main pipelines and service lines will be replaced as part of the project, which is required to continue to provide customers safe and reliable natural gas service.

Crews will be working on NW Kansas Avenue, NW Riverfront Street, NW Riverside Boulevard, and NW Hood Place, as well as connecting alleyways. Work will begin in the alley north of Gilchrist Avenue and move up NW Riverfront Street, toward NW Tumalo Avenue.

Phase 4 is expected to run over the next several months and is expected to conclude by the fourth quarter of the year, weather permitting.

Updates and a map are available on the company’s website at www.cngc.com/in-the-community/construction-updates. If you have additional questions you can call 888-522-1130 or via email at BendReplacementProject@cngc.com.
