Volunteers in Medicine seeks Spanish-speaking volunteers

Volunteers in Medicine Clinic of the Cascades is looking for Spanish-speaking volunteers who are interested in donating their time in our Bend clinic. Volunteer opportunities include working as a clinical interpreter, front desk scheduleror as an eligibility screener.

VIM provides health care at no cost to low-income uninsured adults who live and work in the tri-county area.Gain valuable work experience while volunteering in a medical setting, even if you have no medical expertise.Clinic hours are offered at varying times Monday through Friday, with the average volunteer working a 4-5 hour shift each week.

To volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old, speak English and Spanish, know how to use a computer, and be willing to make an ongoing regular commitment to volunteer.

If you are conscientious, hard-working and love to help people, VIM is the place for you!

Join us at one of our upcoming volunteer orientations this September:

Monday, September 14, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday, September 22, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Wednesday, September 30, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
