The Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation is excited to announce that the Annual Skyliners Ski Swap will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the former Fuqua Homes factory. It’s located at 20495 Murray Road, across the parkway from the Sun Mountain Fun Center.

This year, the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation will not charge admission to enter the Ski Swap, Wednesday’s announcement said.

However, MBSEF will accept monetary donations for their athlete scholarship program. MBSEF encourages everyone in the community to attend this iconic event.

This is the premier swap of the Northwest. Retailers outfit the swap with new, below wholesale pricing on skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, poles, goggles, hats, jackets, etc. Also, the public is invited to sell their used items in good condition as well.

If you have items that you would like to sell, come to the Murray Road location on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. or Friday Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

We will have volunteers that will help you through the check-in process and can help you price your items as well. Then, come back on Sunday, October 18 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. to see if your items sold.

If your items sold, you will be sent a check within 14 days. If your items did not sell, you may pick them up or leave them to be sold at the National Ski Patrol garage sale the following week.

MBSEF will receive a 25 percent commission on all sales. All proceeds from the Annual Skyliners Ski Swap benefit the junior programs at the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation.

The mission of the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation is to be the Northwest’s leading youth sports training organization promoting the positive values of competitive sports including Alpine and Nordic skiing, Snowboarding and Cycling.

The Skyliners Ski Swap is supported by Mt. Bachelor, Inc., 92.9 and MBSEF.
