Bend Parks and Rec seeks flag football referees

The Bend Park and Recreation District is looking for referees for the 2015 fall youth flag football season. Potential applicants must enjoy working with youth and be able to create a positive and encouraging environment. Referees are an essential part of the program.

Although prior referee experience is not required, all referees must have sound football knowledge, a clean criminal history background and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. All applicants must be at least 15 years of age. Pay rates vary from $12.00 to $18.00 per game. Games are played on Sundays running September 20th through November 8th.

Anyone interest must attend the mandatory training meeting scheduled for Tuesday September 8th at 7:00pm at the Park District Office, 799 SW Columbia Street, Bend, Oregon 97702.
