PBMS launches online campaign for musical instruments
Pilot Butte Middle School in Bend has launched a online campaign to help raise money for its music department.
Orchestra and Choir Director Amy Meyer told NewsChannel 21 on Wednesday that the class size has doubled since last year.
Meyer says her students have gained an interest in the cello, but the department doesn’t have enough instruments to go around.
She says some student tend to rent the instrument locally, but not all students can afford to do so.
