Get your sweat on at ‘Cardio for a Cause’

Healthy Beginnings is promoting a healthier, fitter community by presenting Cardio for Cause, a monthly fundraising campaign to raise funds to support Healthy Beginnings’ 18 community screenings. Join us for our upcoming class, featuring Bliss on October 10th!

From 8:00-9:00am on the second Saturday of each month, Healthy Beginnings will host a variety of o fitness classes for anyone 18 and over to attend. With a dance rotation of: Bliss, Zumba, Hip Hop and Ballet Barre, you have the ability to find a class that fits your individual fitness goals.

Only $10 per class and all ticket sales will go straight to support Healthy Beginnings 18 community screenings in 2016. Each class has limited space so reserve your spot today at www.myhb.org. The full schedule is as follows:
– Bliss
o October 10
o February 13
o June 11
– Zumba
o November 14
o March 12
o July 9
– Hip Hop
o December 12
o April 9
o August 13
– Ballet Barre
o January 9
o May 14

Healthy Beginnings screens young children in hearing, speech and language, motor skills, cognitive development, vision, health, dental, behavior and nutrition, information regarding kindergarten readiness, and reading skills.

Parents and children birth through five receive one-on-one consultations with as many as 12 health and development professionals. Referrals are made as indicated with community resources provided to all families.

Healthy Beginnings can even provide information and assistance with Oregon’s health insurance application process too. Healthy Beginnings is one of many programs offered in partnership with the High Desert Education Service District.
