Temporary Bend road, roundabout closures for striping

The roundabout at Bend’s Brookswood Boulevard and the new Murphy Road will be closed Sunday night and Monday night for striping work, officials said.

Crews will begin striping work at the intersection at 7 p.m. both nights and the roundabout will reopen by 7 a.m. the following morning. The same detour used for the earlier construction closure of the roundabout will be in place.

Striping work on Reed Market Road between 3rd Street and American Lane is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

Reed Market Road will be closed to westbound traffic from American Lane to 3rd Street. The road will continue to be available to eastbound traffic between 3rd Street and American Lane.

Reed Market Road will remain closed at the railroad crossing for final construction work in the area. These are the final preparations before opening Reed Market Road for two-way traffic between 3rd Street and 27th Street.
