Homeless Leadership Coalition adds members, updates plan

At the annual meeting of Homeless Leadership Coalition on Friday, eight new voting members were elected to serve. Although many organizations participate in the HLC, the voting members are the governing body for the Central Oregon Continuum of Care and conduct the bi-annual homeless Point in Time Count in the region.

Voting members of the HLC include:

The HLC also adopted “High Desert Home,” an update to the Central Oregon 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness. This update builds upon the 10 Year Plan with strategies to move the plan forward. It also defines three committees to work on the implementation of the plan. These committees include:

1). Homeless Prevention and Services
2). Affordable Housing and Housing Services
3). Systems Integration, Education, and Outreach
