DCSO seeks owner of horse found in SE Bend
The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the owner of a horse it’s been caring for over the past several months.
The horse, which was found wandering in southeast Bend, appears to have had some training and is in good health, said Lt. Paul Garrison.
It’s been cared for at the sheriff’s office’s Large Animal Rescue facility in Bend, Garrison said.
Some specific information, such as gender and age, is being withheld. Anyone with a claim of ownership will be asked to provide clarifying information, including a description of a unique brand on the horse, Garrison said.
Anyone with information about a possible owner and/or claim of ownership is asked to contact Garrison at 541-617-3380.
