Nelson invites citizens to ‘Coffee with Sheriff’ meetings

Deschutes County Sheriff L. Shane Nelson would like to meet with citizens of Deschutes County during coffee meetings in coming weeks.

Coffee with the Sheriff meetings will be held according to the schedule below. Coffee meeting locations will rotate and will follow an “open house” format.

No appointment is necessary to come by and talk with the sheriff at these meetings. Citizens are welcome to drop in at any time during the scheduled event.Water, coffee, and cookies will be available at each meeting.

Sheriff Nelson planned the coffee meetings so he could be available to citizens.

Coffee with the Sheriff meeting schedule for 2016:

Tuesday, March 29 La Pine substation 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, March 31 Sisters substation 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday, April 26 Terrebonne substation 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 27 Bend – Main Sheriff Office 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
