Swampy-Dutchman trail to close temporarily

KTVZ

On Monday, the Deschutes National Forest will temporarily close the Swampy-Dutchman trail at Swampy Lakes Trailhead in West Bend.

The trail closure, 15 miles west of Bend, will be in place seven days a week from June 6-17 while contractors remove dead standing trees on both sides of the trail.

While the approximately 2-mile trail is closed, visitors are encouraged to use the many miles of trails in the area that remain open every day.
