Parking lot work to temporarily close Wanoga, Crescent Jct. sno-parks

The Deschutes National Forest will temporarily close the Wanoga and Crescent Junction Sno-Parks while parking areas are resurfaced in advance of the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

While both Sno-Parks are used in the winter months, motorized and non-motorized users also utilize them in the summer months to access Forest trails on ATVs and mountain bikes.

Wanoga Sno-Park will close for two days beginningMonday, June 27, 2016 to prepared for the application of chip seal onTuesday. Crescent Junction will closeJune 29-30 while contractors prepare and resurface the parking area.

While both Sno-Parks are expected to be open for weekend access onFriday, July 1, there is a possibility that there could be partial closures on the parking areas while work is complete. The public is encouraged to have an alternate destination in mind if these areas are full.
