Oregon FBI unaware of any credible LGBT threats in state
The FBI Portland Division said late Sunday it “continues to work with our local, state and federal law enforcement partners in assessing LGBT-associated threats.”
“At this time we have no information regarding any specific credible threats to any LGBT communities or organizations in Oregon,” said a statement released by FBI Oregon spokeswoman Beth Anne Steele.
“As always, the FBI Portland Division will work with our law enforcement partners to gather, share and act upon threat information as it comes to our attention,” the agency said. “We urge the public to report any and all suspicious activity to law enforcement.”
