Cascade Natural Gas Bend pipeline work advances

Ground conditions have improved, and Cascade Natural Gas crews are picking up speed in their pipeline replacement project on Bend’s west side, the utility said Sunday

Working south on Broadway Street, they’ve crossed the intersection with Northwest Jefferson Place.

A traffic control change will take place on Tuesday: Northwest Broadway Street will be open From NW Jefferson Place north, and closed from just south of NW Jefferson Place to NW Delaware Avenue.

Motorists should continue to avoid Northwest Broadway Street during construction on these streets. The streets will be open each evening around 6 p.m.
