FS road to close for Indian Ford Creek culvert work

KTVZ

In mid-August, the Forest Service will be installing a new culvert under Forest Service Road 2058 on the Sisters Ranger District, which will require the road to be closed during construction.

The culvert will improve the passage of fish and other aquatic species in Indian Ford Creek. The closure of the road will begin on August 15, 2016 and will be effect until construction is completed, which is anticipated to be October 15, 2016. During the closure the public is advised to use County Road 1102 and Forest Road 2050 as an alternate route in the area.

If the public has questions or concerns they can contact Don Walker, Sisters Ranger District Road Manager, 541-549-7738.
