Natural gas line project shifts to downtown Bend
Cascade Natural Gas crews working on the Bend Westside Replacement Projectwill begin replacing gas lines in the downtown area Monday, officials said.
Look for CNG crews working in the area of Northeast Idaho Avenue and Bond Street, moving east.
Northwest Idaho Avenue will be closed to through traffic while main installation takes place. Bond Street will have the right lane closed and parking on the right side of the street closed during main construction.
A separate crew will also be working on Northwest Louisiana Avenue, and flaggers will be redirecting traffic.
Motorists should avoid these streets during construction, but the streets will reopen at 6 p.m. each evening.
