Abilitree celebrates community partners

On October 6 th over 200 Central Oregon community members, businesses, and partner organizations took part in Abilitree’s annual “Celebrating Community Partnerships” event, honoring supporters and raising funds for the organization.

The City of Bend received the Community Partnership Award for their initiative to hire people with disabilities and partner with Abilitree to do so. DrinkTanks, a Bend-based company, received the New Growth Employer Award for their employment partnership.

The event was supported by title sponsor Bank of the Cascades, along with Deschutes Brewery, Old Mill District, Millsite Landscape Services, William Smith Properties, Central Oregon Radiology, BendBroadband Business, Pahlisch Homes, Trips Inc., Cascade Insurance Center and Shanna Evans.
