Four arrested in drug raid on SW Bend home

Four Bend residents were arrested during a drug raid late last week on a southwest Bend home that turned up heroin, methamphetamine and various prescription drugs, police said Sunday.

Ryan Vidal, 32; Autumn Admire, 23; Nathaniel Alvis, 25, and Crystal Prestridge, 26, were among six people contacted at the home in the 20100 block of Merriewood Drive where a search warrant was served around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, based on information gathered in an investigation of the home over the past several weeks, said Bend Police Lt. Clint Burleigh. He added that the raid lasted into early Friday morning.

Two other people contacted at the home are still under investigation and a charging decision will be made later, he said.

Vidal, who lives at the home, was found to be in possession of heroin, meth and associated paraphernalia for both, Burleigh said, adding that an investigation revealed he also had been delivering heroin. He was charged with heroin possession and distribution, meth possession and frequenting a place where drugs are used, kept or sold. He remained lodged late Sunday at the Deschutes County Jail on $10,000 bail, jail records showed.

Admire, who also lives at the home, had heroin in her possession, Burleigh said. She was charged with that and frequenting; a jail officer said she was conditionally released Friday.

An investigation found Alvis possessed meth, heroin and several plastic bags containing several prescription medications that are either a DEA Schedule 3 or 4 controlled substances. He also remained jailed late Sunday, facing charges of heroin and meth possession, as well as possession of other controlled substances and frequenting. His bail was $15,000.

Prestridge was found to be in possession of heroin and also in violation of her probation, Burleigh said. She was held without bail.

“The Bend Police Department strives to make our community safer every day, Burleigh said in a news release. “Investigations like the one conducted (at the home) are important actions in working toward this goal. We encourage our community members to report any suspicious activity that they believe threaten the livability and safety of Bend.”
