Tigard tanning salon customer sues over 2-way windows
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A woman has filed a lawsuit against a Tigard tanning salon after she discovered people could see through windows in her private room.
The Oregonian/OregonLive reports (https://is.gd/tQiVKV ) that Renee Baker claims in her lawsuit that she didn’t realize the windows were two-way glass before she stripped down to tan nude in April. She claims the staff at Palm Beach Tan should have told her people could see her and that she needed to lower electronic blinds before disrobing.
Baker is seeking $325,000 in damages.
This is not the first time windows have caused a problem for Palm Beach Tan. In 2011, a different customer from the same store lost her trial after she sued for $135,000 based on invasion of privacy.
Salon officials could not be reached for comment.
