New ballot drop site to open in southwest Bend

The Deschutes County Clerk’s office announced Monday the addition of another new ballot drop site in Bend. The drop site is located at 1000 SW Bradbury Way, across from the Bend Park and Recreation District’s Pavilion off of Simpson Avenue and Columbia Street.

Voters can access the one-way drive from either end of SW Shevlin Hixon Drive.

Another new drop site was opened earlier this year at 459 SW Bluff Drive in the parking lot south of the Hilton Garden Inn, on the knoll above the Old Mill District. Voters can access the drop box from either end of Bluff Drive from SW Bond Street.

Both new ballot drop sites open on Wednesday , Nov. 2 and are open until 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday , Nov. 8. Watch for signs and banners directing you to the drop sites. (See attached maps).
