Eugene, Medford get daily flights to Phoenix

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) – Oregonians outside of Portland will soon have more options for flying to Arizona.

American Airlines in June will start daily flights to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport from both the Eugene and Medford airports.

Both cities have been without daily flights to Phoenix Sky Harbor since 2008, when US Airways stopped the route during the recession.

American started flights between Redmond and Phoenix last June.
