Bend-La Pine School Board seeks to fill vacancy

The Bend-La Pine Schools Board of Directors is seeking qualified applicants to fill the remaining term of the unexpired Zone 7 position due to last week’s resignation of board member Nori Judba.

Zone 7 is an at-large seat.

Applicants must:

Reside within a Deschutes County voting precinct Reside within the Bend-La Pine Schools attendance area Have been a resident of a Deschutes County voting precinct for at least one year Be a registered voter in a Deschutes County voting precinct

The appointed director shall serve until June 30. The appointee may choose to file for election in the spring of 2017 (filing deadline is March 16) for the May general election. The term length for Zone 7 is four years.

Applicants are asked to submit a resume, and letter of interest explaining why and how they can make a contribution to the district and the board, and submit to:
