Bend seeks septic to sewer advisory panel members

The City of Bend is seeking applications for the SE Bend Septic to Sewer Advisory Committee. Committee members will review and make recommendations to the Bend City Council regarding funding and policy options for a comprehensive plan and strategy to convert properties from septic to sewer in the SE Bend Kings Forest area.

The City would like to include members from the Larkspur and Old Farm District neighborhood associations, citizens at large, citizens with experience from the former Sewer Infrastructure Advisory Group (SIAG), and/or those with expertise in finance, engineering, real estate or other applicable disciplines.

This is a temporary committee created by the City Council to meet for 18-24 months, which may be extended as necessary. It is anticipated that the Committee may meet one or two times per month.

Applicants must be residents of the City of Bend.
