Central Oregon drug agents’ raid on a home north of Bend Friday night led to three arrests and the seizure of heroin and methamphetamine, as well as cash, packaging material and scales, officials said Monday. Two of the three remained jailed Monday on parole violations.

The Central Oregon Drug Enforcement Team, assisted by Oregon State Police and Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies, executed a search warrant around 8:40 p.m. Friday at a home in the 64000 block of Hunnell Road, an operation related to a narcotics investigation over the past several months, said Lt. Nick Parker.

In the residence, investigators encountered Deena Louise Shepherd, 30, and Kenneth Lee Crutcher, 39, both of Bend, and a homeless woman, Lyndsey Dawnelle Taveres, 37, Parker said.

Shepherd allegedly was found in possession of “well over an ounce” of meth, 2.3 grams of heroin, a digital scale and cash, Parker said, while Crutcher had more than a half-ounce of meth, a quarter-ounce of heroin, packaging material and a digital scale.

Tavares was not found in possession of drugs, but did have a probation violation out for her arrest, Parker said.

The three were arrested without incident and lodged at the Deschutes County Jail. Shepherd and Crutcher were held without bail on parole violation charges. They also face drug possession and delivery charges, as well as frequenting a place where drugs are used.

Tavares was booked on a frequenting charge, but that charge was not filed, a jail officer said. She was held on a probation violation until Monday, when she was conditionally released after posting 10 percent of her $5,000 bail, the jail officer said.
