Oregon DMV resolves computer issues, delays
(Update with computer issues resolved, monitored)
Oregon DMV said Tuesday its services are running normally again after computer issues arose in recent days, causing delays at DMV offices and online.
State information technology staff believe they fixed the problem, originating in 27-year-old programming, and were monitoring the system closely to make sure that it continues to run smoothly.
“DMV apologizes for the inconvenience to customers,” the agency said.
The DMV had warned customers Monday it might see delays in services at field offices and online because of intermittent mainframe computer problems, which started Friday.
