Work will also include signing improvements at the intersections of Highway 20 and Gist, Cloverdale and Fryrear roads, officials said.

The work will be done at night, between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m., Sunday through Friday .

Travelers can expect flagger-controlled lane restrictions and delays up to 20 minutes through the work zone.

The work is expected to be complete by the end of September.

Once complete, durable striping, centerline rumble strips, and recessed pavement markers will be installed.
