KTVZ

The Autzen Foundation has awarded Jericho Road of Redmond $5,000 to help support programs for homeless and hungry people in the Redmond area.

The funds will also assist in the weekend food program for students of the Redmond School District including Terrebonne and Tumalo.

The Autzen Foundation has been a consistent supporter of social service organizations throughout the state of Oregon.

“These funds come at a time when housing costs are an extreme challenge for the working poor and those with fixed incomes such as seniors, and the disabled including some veterans,” said Jericho Road Board Chairman, Dr. Mark Keener. “Some of our programs have seen as much as a 20 percent increase in demand over the past year. These funds are absolutely critical and we are very grateful for the support of the Autzen Foundation.”
