Grants to fund Mosaic Medical’s new Redmond clinic
Mosaic Medical announced Tuesday it has received a $250,000 grant from the M. J. Murdock Charitable Trust, a $138,500 grant from The Ford Family Foundation and a $75,000 grant from The Collins Foundation, making possible the construction of its new Redmond clinic.
A $20,000 grant from the Oregon Community Foundation, $2,500 from The Roundhouse Foundation and $1,000 from the Curran Family Fund (of OCF) will additionally help integrate new dental services into this clinic, officials said.
By partnering with Housing Works, Mosaic Medical’s Redmond facility will relocate to the first floor of the affordable housing complex, Cook Crossing, on Southwest Veterans Way in Redmond. The clinic will be open to residents of the building and community members alike, with more space to accept new patients.
This relocation will more than double the available patient care space and place the clinic in close proximity to low-income housing options, area schools, social service agencies, and the transit hub which will make the clinic more convenient and accessible for patients.
The new Redmond clinic will have double the number of exam rooms, three dental operatories and house an array of integrated services. This includes clinical pharmacy, behavioral health, oral health, nutrition and health education services. The expected open date for the new Redmond clinic is September 12
