Thursday’s KTVZ.COM Poll: Painkiller abuse toll

Here are the results of Thursday’s KTVZ.COM Poll, asking whether someone close to you has struggled with prescription painkiller addiction:

Has someone close to you struggled with addiction to prescription painkillers? Yes – 31% (118 votes) No – 69% (257 votes) Total Votes: 375

So, while most say they have not been personally touched by the issue, nearly one-third said yes – a sign of the problem with opioid abuse on the High Desert.
