Missing hikers found safe in Willamette National Forest

SALEM, Ore. (AP) – Searchers have found two hikers reported missing in the Willamette National Forest.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office says the 21-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were in good condition Friday afternoon and didn’t need medical attention.

Relatives contacted authorities after the pair did not return from a day hike Thursday.
