Missing La Pine woman’s body found NE of Prineville

(Update: Woman’s body found, deputies say not suspicious)

The body of a missing La Pine woman was found Sunday afternoon in the Ochoco National Forest northeast of Prineville, Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies said.

The Crook County Sheriff’s Office received a call about 1 p.m. that citizens in the area of Forest Service Road 33 had found the body of Amanda Noyes, 21, said Deschutes County sheriff’s Sgt. William Bailey.

The Deschutes County agency had asked for the public’s help in finding the missing woman, last seen early Friday morning.

Bailey said family members had been notified and indicated it was not a suspicious death.
