Prineville BLM front office to temporarily relocate

In support of its goal to provide a safe and secure environment for the public, employees and public land users, the Bureau of Land Management’s Prineville District will be undergoing an office remodel project beginning the week of August 28 . As part of the work, the front desk area will be closed to public access.

BLM’s front desk staff will be seated in the adjacent Ochoco National Forest building at 3160 NE 3 rd St., and will be available to sell maps, answer questions and refer calls to BLM staff. The phone number for the front desk remains the same, at (541) 416-6700 .

Visitors needing to meet with BLM employees can set up appointments with staff directly, or the front desk can have staff escort visitors into the building for meetings during the remodel as needed.

The remodel will include energy efficiency upgrades, as well as replacement of the existing carpet. The portion of the project affecting the front desk is expected to take several months to complete. For more information, please contact the Prineville BLM office at (541) 416-6700 .
