Home builder’s program to benefit Family Access Network

KTVZ

Arbor Builders, a local residential construction company, has kicked off a new initiative benefiting Family Access Network (FAN). For every house purchased in La Pine or Prineville, Arbor Builders will donate $500 to FAN, and the donation will stay within the community where the house sold.

Each house purchased will help five disadvantaged children and family members get connected to basic-need services like: nutritious food, a safe place to sleep, seasonally appropriate clothing, comprehensive healthcare and more. With basic needs met, these children will be able to focus on school and on being a kid. These funds will make a significant impact in the La Pine and Prineville communities!

“We are so grateful to businesses like Arbor Builders who make a commitment to support vulnerable children in our community. We are looking forward to a long partnership with Arbor Builders that helps further FAN’s mission,” Valerie Yost, FAN Foundation Board Chair.

Arbor Builder’s mission is to serve the needs of buyers, subs, employees, and the community by designing and constructing extraordinary homes for the future, operating efficiently and effectively as an inspired team. They believe integrity is at the foundation of their new homes, as well as relationships.

“We love FAN’s mission to serve kids and their families. We want to see children have their basic needs met so that they can get an education to create a brighter future for themselves!” Jason Adams, Arbor Builders President, CEO.

Unique to Central Oregon, FAN began in January 1993 and currently employs 25 advocates in 52 public school (K-12) and early childhood sites to efficiently reach and connect disadvantaged children and families to critical basic-need services such as: food, shelter, clothing, healthcare and more. FAN’s mission is to improve lives by ensuring that all children in Deschutes and Crook Counties have access to basic-need services.
