Bend Soroptimists begin holiday wreath, evergreen sales
Fresh from the Pacific Northwest, the fragrance of evergreens will soon be here. It is holiday time in Bend as the local service club Soroptimist International of Bend (SI Bend) begins its 36th annual fundraising wreath and evergreen sales.
The sales support the programs of SI Bend , a non-profit organization, to assist women and children in Central Oregon and provide educational awards to local financially needy, head-of-household women who are in the process of completing their education. This year marks SI Bend’s celebration of working 75 years to improve the lives of women and children with programs such as this.
Make your home holiday festive with a wreath or other evergreen gift by viewing all items, then purchasing online at www.sibend.org through PayPal. Holiday sales information is also available through e-Mail at wreaths@sibend.org or by calling 541-389-2694. Sales are from October 1 to October 26, so please place your orders soon.
All wreaths and evergreens are guaranteed fresh and will be delivered to your home after Thanksgiving. SI Bend partners with Teufel Holly Farms, Inc. of Portland for this fundraising project. Teufel Holly Farms holiday greens are Oregon grown and handcrafted in the Pacific Northwest since 1890.
