Starting Tuesday, the public is able to apply for 2018 summer seasonal jobs with the Deschutes National Forest and other forests in the Pacific Northwest.
The Deschutes National Forest will be hiring approximately 40 positions for the summer season in a variety of resources areas. This year, Forest Service job applications for seasonal employment during the summer of 2018 will only be accepted online between November 14 and November 20 via https://www.usajobs.gov/ .
Every year, the US Forest Service hires thousands of employees into temporary, seasonal positions to work on public lands in support of fire management, wildlife, recreation, timber, and other programs.
