Local Alert Weather – Fri. PM
Happy Friday evening, everyone!
Scattered showers remain throughout the region tonight as we begin the weekend. Temperatures are falling, so roads could become slippery tonight. Overnight lows will bottom out in the 20s and 30s, which is fairly mild for this time of year. Clouds will gradually break up and we will end the evening with partly cloudy skies. Winds will be out of the south around 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Saturday sees partly cloudy skies with much more sunshine than we have seen in recent days. Many areas will climb into the 40s, which is right around average. Expect some showers tapering off across the Cascades throughout the day. Winds will be out of the southwest around 10 miles per hour.
Overnight into Sunday expect lows in the low to mid 20s under partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Increasing clouds will arrive for the early morning hours of Sunday. We’ll wake up to cloudy conditions Sunday morning and will see cloudy skies most of the day. Temperatures to round out the weekend will be in the low to mid 40s.
Our next best chance for showers as of now will be Tuesday going into Wednesday. Highs will also cool into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Have a happy & safe weekend!
