Donor boosts Sunriver swan-killing reward to $3,000

The Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory announced Monday an increase in the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for illegally shooting the well-known trumpeter swan, Chuck, last Thanksgiving day.

The facility said an anonymous individual donor has provided an additional $500 in support for the reward, bringing the total to $3,000.
