Local Alert Weather – Mon. AM

KTVZ

Happy Monday morning, everyone!

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 10 a.m. Monday for low visibility due to fog. Fog is likely through low lying elevations and over valleys. The advisory is in place from Bend to the north. Those under the fog with some slick spots could see that turn to ice this morning, so take your time heading out the door.

Temperatures underneath the fog will have a tough time making it out of the 30s. If the fog does break up then that is when we will see highs get into the mid 40s.

The chance for rain showers kicks up this weekend as a flow passes through. Surfaces would be cold, so know there could be slick spots on the roads. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 30s. Rain showers are expected through the early morning hours of Tuesday.

Mt. Bachelor will get around 1″ of snow through the end of the day on Tuesday. More snow is on the way for Wednesday night into Thursday.

Tuesday is forecasted to be dry after sunrise and should stay dry through the night. Mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies are expected. Temperatures will be mild in the mid to upper 40s, which is above average. Conditions will be dry through late Wednesday when rain is expected to make a return. Thursday is looking rather soggy.
