Bend Post Office open for special Presidents’ Day hours

The U.S. Postal Service will offer special retail hours at eight locations in Oregon and Southwest Washington this Monday to provide assistance to customers wishing to send mail or packages on the Presidents’ Day holiday, USPS officials announced Tuesday.

The eight retail locations include Post Offices in Portland, Beaverton, Bend, Eugene and Vancouver, WA.

“We’re offering these special retail hours at select locations for our customers’ convenience,” said acting USPS Portland District Manager Bill Schwartz. “We understand many of our customers will have packages and other items ready to mail on Monday, so we are opening these locations to ensure those items are shipped promptly.”

Below is a list of USPS locations and their special holiday retail hours for Monday:

Portland Main Post Office 715 NW Hoyt St. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Portland Airport Station 7640 NE Airport Way 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Aloha Branch Post Office 3800 SW 185th Ave 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Beaverton Main Post Office 4550 SW Betts Ave. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tigard Branch Post Office 12210 SW Main St. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bend Main Post Office 2300 NE 4 th Ave. 8 a.m. to noon

Eugene Main Post Office 520 Willamette St. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Vancouver, WA, Main Post Office 2700 Caples Ave. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

USPS employees will be available at all eight locations to assist postal customers. Regular retail hours will resume at all Post Office locations on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

In addition, s elected Post Offices offer self-service kiosks that are available 24/7, where customers can purchase postage stamps and also ship small and medium-sized parcels using a debit or credit card. To find the kiosks available nearest them, customers can do a location search at usps.com or use the USPS mobile app, available for Android or iPhones.

Finally, a reminder that stamps and packaging supplies are available to order online at www.usps.com – where customers can also use their credit or debit card to purchase mailing labels for packages and then arrange for free carrier pickup of those items the next business day.
