Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM
Happy Monday evening, everyone!
Tonight expect mostly clear to completely clear skies. Winds will be light out of the northwest then turning southerly. Lows will bottom out in the teens and 20s, so we’ll be off to a cold, frosty start tomorrow morning.
Tuesday will begin with sunny skies across Central Oregon. Some clouds will push in from the southwest through the late afternoon, but we’ll still see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Highs will top out in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s, which is right around average. Our average daytime high at the airport in Redmond is 51 degrees.
Heading into the middle of the week we welcome the chance for rain showers. Wednesday will begin dry, but increasing chances for showers will develop after noon. The chance for showers carries through Thursday and part of the day Friday. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s during this time.
Thursday will see strong winds out of the southwest. Winds will be less breezy by Friday. Once we get into the second half of the day on Friday we’ll see calmer conditions.
