Happy Wednesday evening, everyone!
We’ve seen clouds increase for Central Oregon today, and that will stay the case going into the end of the week. An area of low pressure is inching its way up the California coast and will deliver a slight chance for rain showers tonight. Lows under mostly cloudy skies will be in the upper 20s and low to mid 30s. Winds will be breezy at times out of the south around 10 to 15 miles per hour.
Thursday will be windy with gusts out of the southwest around 40 miles per hour. Sustained winds will be around 30 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy skies will be overhead with the chance for rain showers especially in the afternoon. Most of the shower activity will fall across the Cascades. Daytime highs continue to be mild and above average in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s.
By the end of the week the system will have broken up as it moves north. We’ll be left with clouds overhead for Friday and a chance for snow showers for the Cascades. Mt. Bachelor will wake up to a couple inches of new snow Friday morning. Central Oregon will see highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s with breezy conditions.
This weekend is looking really nice with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
