HSCO offers spring break Camp Furry Friends

KTVZ

The Humane Society of Central Oregon’s Spring Break Camp Furry Friends is for children who love animals. The camps March 26-30 will offer third through seventh grade students a camp designed for their age and interests.

This is the purr-fect opportunity for children who want hands on experience while learning about different types of animals. The program is designed to build confidence, teach responsibility, inspire empathy and increase their knowledge about animals.

During camp, participants will work together to promote animals for adoption, and will graduate from camp with a newfound appreciation for what it takes to have and care for furry friends.

Camp Furry Friend participants will learn from experts in the field, for example, animal control, dog training, first aid and animal photography. They will learn about pet safety, animal body language and enjoy animal related crafts and more.

Camps are limited and filling up fast, so register today! The morning session will be for 8-9 year olds and the afternoon session for 10-12 year olds. For more information and to register visit hsco.org or the Humane Society of Central Oregon (61170 SE 27 th St in Bend).
