Local Alert Weather 0311 PM

KTVZ

Hello everyone!

Today was another beautiful day with daytime highs in the lower 60’s with plenty of sunshine. Tonight skies will remain clear therefore temperatures will drop quickly overnight. Our lows will reach the low to mid 30’s.
Monday the high pressure system will remain over the region, which means more clear skies and warmer temperatures. Daytime highs will be very warm in the mid to upper 60’s. By the afternoon winds will begin to gain strength at about 10 to 15 miles per hour. The breezy conditions and increase in clouds Monday night does indicate a storm is on the way.

The storm will push through Tuesday bringing an 80 percent chance of rain showers. This front will be part of a cold system therefore temperatures will drop about ten degrees. We’ll still be around average in the low to mid 50’s.

Wednesday we’ll be drier during the day, but cloudy. A chance of mixed showers returns to the area Wednesday night and will continue Thursday morning. Temperatures will warm to the lower 50’s so the mixed showers will turn to rain during the afternoon. Similar conditions will continue on Friday.

Next weekend we’ll remain cloudy with temperatures around average in the lower 50’s.
