Bend Westside gas line project gets underway

Cascade Natural Gas Corp. is starting the Bend Westside Replacement Project Phase 7 this week, and that means a major detour for the next several weeks.

Northwest 14 th Street between Galveston and Newport avenues will be reduced to one lane, as both the city of Bend and Cascade Natural Gas upgrade underground utilities.

Southbound traffic will be detoured to Mount Washington Drive 24 hours a day until the first week in June.
