Local Alert Weather, Mon. AM, 4.2.18

KTVZ

Good Monday Morning, Everyone…

Cold, Arctic air moving southward along the Canadian coastline and rotating into the Pacific NW will keep us pretty chilly today and downright cold tonight. We will see plenty of sunshine and a variable cloud cover, but highs will only reach the mid to upper 40’s. NW winds will ramp up to 15-20 mph with some areas seeing gusts as high as 30 mph.

Skies will stay mostly clear tonight and that will help our overnight lows drop to the teens and low 20’s. NW winds will back off later in the day and then become light and variable tonight.

We will warm back to something a little more normal for this time of year on Tuesday. A warm, wet system will deliver a chance of showers Wednesday. Temps will warm into the low 60’s for the rest of the week and rain showers are likely to stay with us off and on for the rest of the week and into next weekend.

HAVE A SPARKLING DAY IN CENTRAL OREGON!
