Redmond School Board to award scholarships

The Redmond School District Board of Directors will award four scholarships of $1,250 each, with two recipients from Redmond High School and two recipients from Ridgeview High School.

The board of directors applied for and were awarded the scholarship funds as part of the Oregon School Board Association’s The Promise Scholarship Program.

Applicants must intend to enroll at an accredited trade school, university, or community college for fall term of 2018 as a full time student.

Funds will be sent to the financial aid office where the recipients are attending. Applications will be evaluated on the following criteria: grade point average, academic record, school and community activities and civic engagement essay.
