Bend-La Pine Schools doing survey on school start times

Bend-La Pine Schools is inviting parents, students, staff and community members to participate in a survey to gather feedback on current start times and an alternate school start time.

Prior to completing the survey, community members are invited to review a short presentation that includes current research regarding teen sleep patterns and school start times.

If change is made to school start times, it would take place at the start of the 2019-20 school year.

The survey will be open April 9 to May 31 and is part of a process Bend-La Pine Schools is undertaking to reexamine school start times.
