Local Alert Weather, Wed., 4.25.18
Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
A weak system centered well off in the Pacific may pitch a few thin clouds in our direction today, but overall we are looking at one beautiful day ahead. Highs will range from the mid 70’s to low 80’s and winds will be light and variable. Do be aware that smoke from controlled burns will be hanging in the air for much of the day. Clear and smoky tonight with lows in the 40’s and light & variable breezes.
Thursday looks to be a repeat of today…perhaps a tad warmer. Thursday night, however, will usher in some change. That system in the Pacific will gain a little strength and make landfall, increasing our cloud cover and bringing in cooler temps. A chance of showers will stay with us from Friday right through the weekend. Daytime highs will take a significant drop, as well. Look for mid 60’s Friday and mid 50’s Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows will be back down to freezing Sunday and Monday nights, so be sure to protect sensitive plants and animals that you are so excited to get out over the next couple days.
